Materials:
Yarn: Wonderfil 1 skein of each: black, grey, white and red
Knitting Needles: 1 circular needle 5 mm (80 cm long)

about 34 in. x 42 in. (85 cm x 105 cm) Tension: 16 sts x 22 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) square in garter stitch
Note:
Afghan is worked back and forth in rows. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches.
Pattern Stitch:
Row 1 (Right Side): knit 2, (p2, k2) to the end of row.
Row 2: P2, (k2, p2) to the end of row.
Row 3: P2, (k2, p2) to the end of row.
Row 4: K2, (p2, k2) to the end of row.

Instructions:
With black colour, cast on 142 sts.
Work 8 rows in pattern st.
With white colour, work 20 rows in garter stich.
With red colour, work 12 rows in pattern st.
With grey colour, work 32 rows in garter st.
With black colour, work 16 rows in pattern st.
With red colour, work 20 rows in garter st.
With white colour, work 32 rows in pattern st.
With black colour, work 12 rows in garter st.
With grey colour, work 20 rows in pattern st.
With red colour, work 16 rows in garter st.
With white colour, work 28 rows in pattern st.
With grey colour, work 40 rows in garter st.
With black colour, work 16 rows in pattern st.
With red colour, work 20 rows in garter st.
With white colour, work 20 rows in pattern st.
With grey colour, work 40 rows in garter st.
With black colour, work 8 rows in pattern st.- black
Bind off..

Side Edges: With right side facing, with black colour, pick up an even amount of sts. (about 180 sts) along one long edge.

Work in pattern st for 8 rows or the equivalent length of the end edges.

Bind off. Repeat along opposite long edge.

Weave in ends.
